During the excavation and foundation
stages we had to cover the entire work
area with tarps to keep the rain water out.
We kept most of the rain water out,
however at times the tarps would tear, from
the heavy winds, making the clay like dirt
miserable to walk on. Whatever water did
come in would have to be pumped out to
keep the footings dry.
