The plumber marked out areas for us
to prep, for installing two floor sinks.
The existing concrete floor was
between 9-10 inches thick. We first
drilled pilot holes in the corners, then
went under the floor slab, in the crawl
space, to verify that there weren't any
obstructions or utility pipes. We did
run into a concrete beam with old
forms still attached, which we had to
remove, to continue our work. We cut
the floor with a walk behind cement
saw. After that we had to jack hammer
out the remaining concrete, as it was
supported by re-bar.
